48k is proud to close out 2019 with ‘Memory Ha,’ from LA-based rising talent Miracles.

In just a few short years , Miracles has established himself in a crowded field by developing a distinctive sound—solid-ice synth leads, high-pitched vocal shards, thousand-pound basslines, and occasional sunlit threads. On ‘Memory Ha,’ he takes his development of that sound to a new level, growing his practice from sonic sculpting to world building.
The EP “...is a collection of tracks inspired by imaginary worlds I would escape to as a kid," including the video games he’d play growing up, Miracles explains. “I remember immersing myself in fantasies filled with dark corners, weird creatures, and solemn soundtracks. There seemed to be an attractive contrast between industrial and organic environments, and I wanted to reflect this idea sonically,” he says.
